The Pupforated Playhouse features a fold-out ramp and balcony, designed to enhance a small dog's environment by encouraging physical activity and offering shaded areas for relaxation. Made from triangular panels with varying perforations, the structure creates a dynamic play of light and color, specifically tailored to the dog's visible spectrum.
Circular openings promote exercise, while an enclosed bed and built-in food and water bowls provide comfort and convenience. The design’s adaptability allows owners to easily return the structure to its compact form, ensuring a seamless blend of practicality and modern aesthetics in any outdoor space.

During my summer internship at GFF, I had the opportunity to design an innovative dog house for the Bark + Build competition in Dallas, which was subsequently exhibited at NorthPark Center.
This competition, a collaboration between AIA Dallas and TEXO, The Construction Association, provides architects and builders a platform to showcase their creativity while supporting the SPCA of Texas. The event features custom-designed dog houses and cat condos displayed at NorthPark Center, with proceeds from auctions benefiting the SPCA's mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in North Texas.
